Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a skilled Plumber/Pipefitter for the 2nd shift on-site in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on maintaining critical building steam and water systems, requiring hands-on expertise and strong problem-solving abilities.

You will work with a team to plan preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and ensure peak facility performance. The position includes lifting, long hours, and collaboration with client teams and site staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Completion of trades schooling or vocational training in plumbing/pipefitting.
• 3+ years of hands-on plumbing/pipefitting experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.
• Technical expertise with water treatment, steam systems, HVAC components, and building infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operation, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation of piping and plumbing systems for building steam and water infrastructure.
• Monitor heating, cooling, pumps, valves, and filtration equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and determine corrective actions to restore operation with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with client representatives, understand operational needs, and schedule maintenance within windows.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies, including after-hours support.
