Job summary

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. seeks a supervisor to oversee the processing plant, pit operations, and support areas including shipping and quality control. This hourly, non-exempt role works under direct and indirect supervision and requires adherence to safety regulations.

You will supervise operations, enforce MSHA/DEP rules, and coordinate production, data entry, and weekly safety meetings while ensuring timely shipping and continuous improvement in efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years aggregate experience or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the complete operation of the processing plant, pit operation and support areas including shipping and quality control.
• Enforce MSHA and DEP regulations, policies and recordkeeping.
• Oversee safe plant operation, optimize availability and efficiency to ensure quality material is on stock for shipping.
• Coordinate all phases of the operation and manage public relations.
• Enter production data and maintain records; conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Perform MSHA inspections and provide required reporting.
