Job summary

Blackeagle Energy Services LLC is seeking a Pipefitter for the 2nd shift in our fabrication shop. The role involves planning, laying out, installing, testing, and repairing piping systems in accordance with plans and codes.

Responsibilities include reading P&ID and isometric drawings, visualizing 3D from 2D plans, maintaining safety, inspecting work, and using pipe fitting techniques to install and secure pipe systems.

Qualifications

• Three years welding experience preferred; must pass the prescribed welding test.
• Ability to read documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to understand information and perform tasks as discussed.
• Knowledge of welding codes, specifications, techniques, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of contract plans and plan, lay-out, install and/or repair piping systems.
• Read and understand plans including P&ID and isometric drawings.
• Visualize 2D drawings in 3D and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe work area.
• Inspect work for compliance and take corrective action as needed.
• Use hand and power tools to install pipe, fittings and supports; install valves and other fittings; lift and secure materials.
• Apply various pipe fitting techniques including butt welded, socket welded, threaded, Grooved, and fused joints.
• Understand and implement hot-work and lockout/tagout procedures.
