Job summary

Blackeagle Energy Services LLC in Berthoud, CO is seeking a Pipefitter for 2nd shift to plan, lay-out, install, test and repair piping systems in accordance with plans, specs and codes.

You will read P&ID and isometric drawings, follow safety rules, and collaborate with other crafts as needed. A high school diploma and welding experience are required; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years welding experience preferred; welding test required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have knowledge of welding codes, specifications, techniques, and methods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overhead/ in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work up to 12-hour shifts in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract plans; plan, lay out, install and repair piping per plans.
• Read plans and specifications, including P&ID and isometric drawings.
• Visualize two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions.
• Install pipes, valves, fittings, hangers; mount pipe hangers and brackets.
• Use butt weld, socket weld, threaded, Victaulic joints, etc.
• Follow hot-work and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Produce quality work meeting plans and standards.
• Support safety protocols and company values.
