Professional Piping Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our mechanical fabrication team. We offer day and night shift options and require strong blueprint and P&ID interpretation, pipe takeoffs, and precise pipe preparation for fabrication.

You will measure, cut, bevel, and fit piping components, coordinating with welders and fabricators to meet production schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipefitter or Pipe Fabricator.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings.
• Experience performing pipe takeoffs and calculating material requirements.
• Knowledge of P&IDs and piping symbols.
• Strong math skills for measurements and dimensional calculations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Perform pipe takeoffs to determine required materials.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare pipe per specs.
• Prepare pipe for welding including beveling.
• Select fittings, flanges, valves, and other components.
• Use tools to ensure accurate dimensions and proper fit-up.
• Verify materials against drawings and specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with welders and shop personnel to meet schedules.
