Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a 2nd Shift Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop to fabricate pipe for fire protection systems. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using machinery, assembling components, and ensuring proper fittings.

The role requires dependable attendance, ability to communicate clearly, and willingness to work Saturdays or extended hours as needed. EOE.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure down to ¼ inch.
• Dependable with good attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Able to work Saturdays; extended hours possible.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Use various machinery to fabricate pipe.
• Study and interpret assembly instructions.
• Listen to directions from supervisors.
• Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions.
• Read parts list to ensure all parts are present.
• Assemble tools, materials, and components.
• Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
• Ensure parts are fitted and screwed properly.
• Troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Report production errors and assist management.
