Opella is hiring a Packaging Technician in Chattanooga for 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm). The role focuses on operating and maintaining packaging lines from tube and bottle fillers to cappers, with setup, cleaning, and preventative care to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will ensure FDA and cGMP compliance, document fill levels, and work with teammates to meet production goals while supporting sustainability initiatives and the company’s self-care mission.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing packaging environments is expected.
• Ability to lift 25–60 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Use tools to disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed.
• Prepare packaging lines for various products and ensure correct setup.
• Provide packaging supplies and bulk products to maintain operations.
• Monitor product quality and reject materials not meeting FDA-cGMP standards.
• Document and maintain proper fill levels according to product specs.
• Operate packaging lines following Set-Up Sheets, SPIs, SOPs, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with FDA and cGMP requirements.
