Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 2nd shift at 1 Quality Place, Buckner, KY. You will operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment, ensuring products are packaged safely and to high quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, with a schedule Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm, and a competitive hourly wage plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level).
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment.
• Proficiency with SAP, hand scanners, and basic math.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery and perform line changeovers.
• Monitor processes and maintain sanitation during changeovers.
• Complete paperwork and record inventory in SAP.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and backup coverage as needed.
