Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist (Optical Production) for the 2nd shift in Redmond, WA. This role is critical in delivering optical assemblies for the Starlink satellite program, ensuring a seamless introduction of new configurations into production.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing setting, along with strong skills in communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hands-on manufacturing environment or a relevant degree required.
• Ability to perform process development and validation on new designs.
• Experience as a Lead Technician in assembly or testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage configuration introduction into production area.
• Perform process development under tight timelines.
• Design and implement assembly fixtures to improve processes.
