Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Starlink Production Technician for 2nd shift to build electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, test hardware, and support prototype development in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will read drawings, assemble PCB into chassis, wire harness, solder, test equipment, and work with automated systems; the role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and shift times 3:30 PM–2 AM.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency certificate.
• 1+ years of hands-on work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical sub-assemblies and assemble satellite components and final integrations.
• Assemble PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Build battery modules, solar modules, and solar arrays.
• Wire harnessing, soldering, and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes.
• Conduct functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown.
• Operate complex automated equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support the development of prototype test capabilities for spacecraft components and life tests.
• Assist in identifying, installing, and implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform test setups across thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration.
