Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support shift management, supervise technicians and customer service staff, and drive performance against maintenance, safety, quality and asset targets.

Responsibilities include workflow planning, labor management, customer communications, and parts inventory oversight to ensure vehicle uptime and service excellence. A strong background in shop operations and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate/bachelor degrees preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience in maintenance operations or shop environment
• Supervisory experience preferred; ability to manage budget and labor targets

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow: scheduling, assignment of work, and efficiency tracking
• Oversee labor management: training, development, performance, and supervision
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure vehicle uptime and satisfaction
• Control parts inventory, shop tooling, and equipment needs
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations and company policies
