American Products in Strafford, MO is seeking a hands-on Shelter Assembly Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM). You will lead the Shelter Assembly team, ensure safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor.

You will coach, troubleshoot, balance staffing, monitor inventory accuracy, drive continuous improvement with lean practices, and foster a positive, accountable team culture that delivers on production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills in Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and development skills.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Flexible and dependable team player.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support team members in a safe and productive work environment.
• Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, and cross-training opportunities.
• Monitor workflow and address resource needs, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper labor reporting.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, timecards, and employee performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste using lean manufacturing principles.
• Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and a "whatever it takes" attitude.
