Job summary

American Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our Mod Assembly team and drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee development on the production floor in Strafford, MO.

You will coach team members, meet daily production goals, maintain inventory accuracy, and push continuous improvement throughout operations. A hands-on leader who fosters a positive, collaborative culture is ideal.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is required or team lead experience will be considered.
• Manufacturing leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and employee development skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members in a safe and productive work environment.
• Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, and cross-training opportunities.
• Monitor workflow and address resource needs, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper labor reporting.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, timecards, and employee performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste using lean manufacturing principles.
