American Wood Fibers is seeking a Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Tech on the 1st shift at our Marshall, Texas facility. The role focuses on safe troubleshooting and repair of production equipment to keep lines running.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical understanding, and the ability to read schematics. This in-person, day-shift position offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical and machinery background with exposure to high-speed equipment.
• Electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
• Basic welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment and emergency repairs during production.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Maintains bearings, power transmission, motors, VFDs, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Operates forklift and other mobile equipment safely.
• Reads and interprets manuals and work orders; logs work in CMMS.
