American Wood Fibers in Olivehurst, CA is seeking a Second Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to operate safely and efficiently while troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining production lines, setting up machinery, and performing preventive maintenance.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and a basic welding ability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Mechanical/machinery background with high-speed equipment.
• Electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
• Basic welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Must have own basic tools and be able to work outside when necessary.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Maintain bearings, power transmission, motors, VFDs, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Repair trailers and general building maintenance as needed.
• Read work orders and manuals to perform tasks.
• Operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely.
