Job summary

Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies is seeking a Production Operator Assembler II for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm–12:30 am, Mon–Thu). The role involves complex machine operations, metal finish and assembly, plus adherence to ISO/cGMP standards to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, in-process checks, and contributing to continuous improvement. Proficiency with measurement tools and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or cleanroom experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP, Lean manufacturing, or workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed documentation and ensure ISO/cGMP compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
• Crosstrain and onboard new team members.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
• Read, understand and follow work instructions and quality requirements.
• Support the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
• Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
• Assemble and package components and medical devices with increased complexity.
• Set up and operate production equipment; monitor and adjust parameters.
• Perform in-process quality checks and resolve minor issues.
• Execute advanced secondary operations (trimming, deburring, cleaning, passivation, laser marking).
• Use precision measurement tools for verification.
