Job summary

Cretex Medical is hiring a Production Operator to perform basic to complex machine operations, assembly, inspection, and secondary processes in a medical device manufacturing environment.

The role requires proficiency across multiple production areas, troubleshooting ability, and adherence to quality and safety standards. 3rd shift runs 10:00 pm–6:30 am, Sunday–Thursday, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
• Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations preferred.
• Experience using a microscope for stamping and molding implant roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools.
• Complete production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
• Handle and work with cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents when needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
• Cross train across manufacturing areas.
• Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
• Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
• Assemble and package components and medical devices with increased complexity per specifications.
• Operate advanced manual and semi-automated equipment.
• Perform in-process quality checks and resolve assembly issues.
• Execute advanced secondary operations (trimming, deburring, cleaning, passivation, laser marking, laser welding, label generation & inspection, finishing).
• Use precision measurement tools for verification.
• Enter data in the applicable system.
