Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical company, seeks a Production Operator Assembler I for 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) to perform basic machine operation, inspection, assembly, and packaging of medical device components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will read work instructions, use measurement tools, maintain 5S, and Crosstrain across areas while supporting quality systems and ISO/cGMP compliance.

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
6+ months of manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or cleanroom experience.
Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP, Lean manufacturing, or workplace safety practices.
Experience working with microscopes or inspection tools.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools.
Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and ISO/cGMP requirements.
Crosstrain across manufacturing areas.
