Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical affiliate in Minnesota, seeks a Production Operator Assembler I for second shift (Mon-Thu, 3:45pm–1:45am). You will perform basic machine operation, inspection, assembly, packaging, and documentation to produce medical device components.

You will inspect parts, use hand tools and gauges, follow work instructions, and participate in training. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills and dexterity for measurements.
• Read, write and follow written instructions in English.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using basic tools as required.
• Document production records, quality checks and setup sheets.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain 5S standards.
• Crosstrain across manufacturing areas and follow ISO/cGMP guidelines.
• Operate assembly and production equipment per work instructions.
• Monitor part quality and machine performance; communicate issues promptly.
• Assist with secondary operations such as trimming, deburring, and labeling.
