Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Machining certificate or Associate's degree in a technical field, OR a minimum of two (2) years of experience in machining.
• CNC experience with lathes, mills, grinders, manual hone, or lap.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within Jackson, MS (50 miles).
• Export-controlled information requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through lean cell functions and other lean cells.
• Visually and physically inspect parts with measuring equipment.
• Apply SPC and other problem-solving methods to ensure quality.
• Interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines; maintain tolerances.
• Return tools to proper locations and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform sub-assembly operations such as installing pins, plugs, and bearings.
