Job summary

Tempur Sealy is hiring Assembly Technicians for the 2nd shift. You will load foam cores, apply covers, and prepare products for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role requires physical stamina and comfort with manufacturing equipment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, prior manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required during busy seasons, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop and operate machinery regularly.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Overtime and flexible hours during peak production seasons.
• Knowledge of PC usage and basic data entry is preferred.
• Fork truck certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and work as a fully-empowered team member to reach zero incidents.
• Follow instructions and suggest improvements when appropriate.
• Load/unload mattress-sized foam cores from processing machines.
• Apply covers and material to foam cores; palletize or box for shipment.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Occasionally cover other functions outside primary area; keep area clean.
