Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is recruiting Assembly Technicians on the 1st shift at our U.S. facility. You will follow safety guidelines, load/unload foam cores, apply covers, and prepare products for shipment while ensuring quality standards.

Candidates should be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, with overtime during high-demand periods. HS diploma or GED preferred; forklift certification is a plus. Tempur Sealy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, bend and operate machinery continuously.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work overtime during peak production seasons.
• Basic data entry and PC usage knowledge.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and work as a fully empowered team member.
• Follow instructions and suggest improvements.
• Load and unload mattress-sized foam cores from processing machines.
• Apply covers and other materials, then palletize or box for shipment.
• Ensure product meets quality standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Occasionally fill in for other functions outside primary area.
• Maintain and clean the assigned work area.
