Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler in our Jackson, MI facility. The primary duties include shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse material. You will join the Operations team, helping teammates, and following safety policies.

From 4:00 pm to 12:30 am EST, Monday through Friday, with starting pay of $20/hour plus benefits after 30 days. Prior forklift experience and a High School Diploma are preferred. OSHA safety practices apply daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–2 years forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Strong initiative and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders with forklift until complete; report shortages or damaged material.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting.
