Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Michigan is seeking an Experienced Material Handler for a 2nd shift automotive parts manufacturing facility in the Lapeer area. This role involves loading/unloading shipments, distributing materials to work centers, operating and inspecting a forklift, and supporting production on a high-volume, precision shop floor.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, performing 5S practices, handling puck master and coolant tote maintenance, and performing other duties as

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and forklift operation.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads shipments.
• Distributes material to all work centers.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner.
• Daily inspection of forklift.
• Oversees and maintains machines, including puck master and coolant tote.
• Responsible for 5S of entire facility.
• Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling and delivery.
• General support to production.
• Other duties as assigned.
