Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI seeks a dedicated Forklift Operator for our 2nd shift (2PM–10PM). You will operate forklift equipment to move, load, and unload pallets, maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Prior material handling and Hi-Lo experience are preferred.

Must be 18+, with a High School diploma or GED and strong English skills. You will work in a fast-paced plant environment, collaborating with teams to meet production schedules and customer

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours daily.
• High School diploma or GED.
• One month related experience or training.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Hi-Lo driving experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Physically capable of performing job duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets and materials.
• Load and unload materials onto pallets.
• Inventory materials on the work floor.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements.
• Transport loads to designated areas.
• Weigh materials and record weights.
