Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 4:30pm - 1:00am). The role includes breaking down and storing materials, locating items, and operating tuggers and forklifts to ensure on-time delivery to production cells.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, support inventory accuracy, and flex to other areas as needed. Prior SAP experience is a plus, with competitive benefits and a company committed to growth and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
• Previous stock or inventory experience is a plus.
• Ability to be flexible with hours based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Breaks down, sorts, and stores all material, both incoming and outgoing, in the supermarket.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
• Operates tuggers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Responsible for on-time delivery of material to production cells hourly.
• Must follow standard work for proper on-time material flow throughout the process.
• Performs any required cycle counts and inventory audits in timely manner.
• Must be willing to flex to other assigned team areas to help co-workers.
• Perform 5S duties required to keep the area(s) clean and in order.
• Perform other similar duties as directed within the scope of the Materials team.
