Stanley Black & Decker in Stanfield, NC is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift (M-F, 6am-2pm) with a pay rate of $18.64/hr. The role includes maintaining inventories, supplying components to the floor, and ensuring housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good math and filing skills.
• Production minded and able to follow standard manufacturing practices.
• Experience with MRP systems preferred.
• Familiarity with general environmental health and safety rules.
• Inventory management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all component inventories in storage locations and MRP system.
• Supply components to productive floor based on customer demand.
• Keep all areas of responsibility up to facility housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate the distribution of raw materials and finished components to their designated areas for completion of processes.
• Run floor scrubbers
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting and bending.
• Become a certified PIV operator
• Work OT as needed, Saturdays included
