Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler for a battery manufacturing facility. This full-time role supports production operations in a warehouse setting and requires safety-conscious, detail-oriented candidates.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with pay of $28.95 per hour. Responsibilities include moving materials, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Require valid driver's license and forklift/material handling experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Able to lift and move heavy materials throughout shift.
• Strong attention to detail and workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and lead testing may be required.
• Willingness to undergo other pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, battery components, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
• Deliver materials to production areas to maintain workflow and efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify inventory counts and complete accurate documentation of material movement.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards.
• Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
