Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is hiring for a Warehouse/Logistics Associate on 2nd shift (starting around 3:30 PM). You will handle material movement, forklift operation, inventory, order receipt, inspection and shipping to support a continuous flow manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, lean improvements and cross-functional teamwork while meeting customer needs. A HS diploma or GED is required with 3+ years of related experience, and EPA/automation familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Previous experience training and/or leading others required.
• Previous experience in material handling and shipping/receiving required.
• Experience working with automated demand fulfillment systems required.

Responsibilities

• Follow routine work procedures consistently.
• Operate across multiple work areas to support supply chain needs.
• Identify disruptions, troubleshoot, and perform routine repairs/adjustments.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure quality.
• Focus on lean improvements and measure performance against goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and understand customer needs.
• Move materials with forklift/reach truck; oversee receiving and shipping.
• Manage inventory and fulfill orders; ensure flow through systems.
