Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding (SSB) is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory in a fast-paced Riviera Beach, FL facility. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a lean, production-focused environment.

Candidates should have 3+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership and English proficiency. Compensation includes $23/hour base plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift, with standard benefits and a

Qualifications

Three or more years of experience required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be at least 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
Previous experience training and/or leading others required.
Previous experience in material handling and shipping/receiving experience required.
Experience working with automated demand fulfillment systems required.

Responsibilities

Operate in multiple work areas to support the supply chain requirements of a continuous flow manufacturing process.
Identify disruptions and troubleshoot per SOP and protocols.
Perform routine inspections to ensure quality standards.
Manage warehousing activities including receiving, storage and shipping.
Develop capacity plans for build-to-stock or build-to-order environments.
Ensure inventory levels are optimized for service levels and cost.
