Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the supply chain in our manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, manage inventory, pick and ship orders, and participate in lean improvements to meet safety and quality standards.

Three or more years of experience are required. The role is on-site with a 1st shift starting around 5am. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• Previous experience training and/or leading others required.
• Previous experience in material handling and shipping/receiving; automated demand fulfillment systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently and independently follows routine work procedures.
• Operates within a variety of work areas to support the supply chain requirements of a continuous flow manufacturing process.
• Identifies process disruptions and troubleshoots problems per SOPs and protocols.
• Performs routine inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Focuses on continuous improvement of material movement and KPI tracking.
• Transports materials/finished product using forklifts to designated locations.
