Job summary

Watlow seeks a Manufacturing Production Team Leader I - 2nd Shift to guide a team of production operators, achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will apply Lean and Watlow Business System (WBS) practices to build capability and drive improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will coach operators, manage attendance and staffing, and ensure data-driven decisions to improve processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
• Leadership training or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet SQDC goals in assigned cells.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and WBS methodologies.
• Manage team performance, attendance and manpower allocation to meet capacity needs.
• Solve problems using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods.
• Foster a safe, organized and high-performing work environment via 6S and MDI practices.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, and HS&E on staffing and safety initiatives.
