Job summary

JobTarget, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a multi-cell team on the 2nd shift in Waterbury, CT. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, translating the production schedule into actionable plans and removing roadblocks to achieve OEE targets.

You will mentor and develop operators, conduct daily stand-ups and 1:1s, and partner with maintenance and quality to contain defects and ensure ISO/AS compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume precision manufacturing.
• 2+ years leading teams in a multi-cell environment.
• Reading blueprints and using basic metrology.
• Lean/continuous improvement experience (5S, 8D, SMED).
• Proficiency with ERP/MES and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of leads and operators; conduct daily stand-ups.
• Translate production schedule into actionable plans by cell/line and balance capacity.
• Drive safety, quality, and delivery while improving OEE and throughput.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for downtime and preventive maintenance.
• Use data to identify improvements and sustain results.
