Job summary

Watlow is seeking a Manufacturing Production Team Leader I for the 2nd shift to guide a team of production operators toward meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. The role emphasizes applying the Watlow Business System (WBS) and driving continuous improvement across the line.

You will coach and develop your team, use data to improve processes, and partner with HR and HS&E to ensure staffing and safety excellence on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or production leadership.
• Leadership training or prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to achieve SQDC goals.
• Support continuous improvement using Lean and WBS.
• Manage team performance, attendance, and manpower allocation.
• Solve problems using RCCA methods.
• Foster a safe, organized, high-performing workplace through 6S and MDI.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, and HS&E on staffing and safety.
