Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) to lead a production team and drive safe, high‑quality output. This role focuses on building a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the shift.

You will develop and implement strategies to maximize team effectiveness, set clear priorities, and ensure reliable Run and Improve results while engaging employees in learning and skill development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required for minimum qualification.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration across teams.
• Experience in driving results through process improvements and teamwork.
• Knowledge of data analysis systems (SAP, Maximo, Manufacturing Analytics, MQIS).
• Proven ability to reduce losses and improve performance in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead food and human safety through established leadership principles.
• Develop strategies to maximize shift team effectiveness and clear priorities.
• Provide direction for a production team on 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm).
• Drive sustainable performance and coach team members for growth.
• Manage program execution and health of shift processes and changeovers.
• Ensure inventory, quality, and traceability compliance on shift basis.
• Foster a positive learning environment and support continuous improvement.
