Job summary

Standex International is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the 2nd shift in our North Billerica, MA facility. You will plan hour-by-hour production activity, ensure safety, and drive on-time shipments by monitoring line performance and coordinating with Engineering and Quality teams.

You will lead a small manufacturing team, resolve floor issues, and maintain accurate job documentation while promoting continuous improvement and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a low mix/low volume metal fabrication environment is preferred.
• Experience leading/supervising small teams is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize hour-by-hour activities for 2nd Shift manufacturing associates to meet quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Provide technical floor support and resolve issues as they arise.
• Ensure daily department schedules are followed to meet shipments consistently.
• Monitor run times and drive process improvements on shop floor.
• Audit paperwork, routings, logs and work instructions for conformity.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and other support areas on production issues.
