Job summary

AIS in Leominster, MA is seeking a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift (Worksurfaces) to support the Production Manager in daily operations, oversee production activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive productivity in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop teams, train staff on processes and safety, review attendance, allocate resources, and collaborate with Manufacturing and Logistics to meet production targets, while upholding AIS values.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Strong reading, writing, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and direct employees to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Develop production schedules and monitor workflow to ensure operational efficiency.
• Train employees on production processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Enforce company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations.
• Review and approve employee timekeeping and attendance records.
• Oversee daily production activities and allocate resources to meet production targets.
• Assign work and provide direction to Group Leads.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, and other departments to prioritize production needs and back orders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.
