Job summary

Clarios Toledo plant is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:30 PM). You will plan, direct, and control production activities, train staff, and enforce safety and housekeeping standards.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts with Lean/Six Sigma exposure, ensure staffing levels, and drive KPI performance while managing overtime to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1+ year managing employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and control manufacturing activities in assigned area to meet goals.
• Train production personnel and maintain safe, efficient work environment.
• Maintain employee relations and apply policies consistently.
• Requisition staff to meet production targets and monitor KPI indicators.
• Investigate variances, implement improvements, and monitor maintenance of equipment.
• Assign work and manage labor and material usage to meet costs.
• Overtime required to meet internal and customer requirements.
