Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive manufacturing, manufacturing, production, quality inspection, or containment preferred.
• Ability to work 2nd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee employees assigned to production, inspection, containment, and other manufacturing workstations.
• Coordinate daily shift-start activities, including workstation setup, staffing, paperwork, tools, and materials.
• Monitor employees to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to procedures and customer requirements.
• Oversee product inspection and containment activities to identify quality issues and ensure nonconforming products are handled.
• Provide hands-on training and communicate new work instructions and procedures to employees.
• Ensure employees follow safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Monitor and maintain accountability for employees assigned to specific jobs or workstations.
