Job summary

GEOTEK is hiring a Process Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift to serve as the engineering presence on the floor. You will troubleshoot, run trials, design tooling in SolidWorks, and push improvements that stick.

This is a hands-on role with ownership; you’ll be the one making the call and following through, coordinating with operations and engineering teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year technical degree preferred; hands-on manufacturing experience considered.
• Experience with SolidWorks, parts, assemblies and drawings.
• Comfortable with 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday schedule.
• Self-starter and proactive problem-solver.
• Strong communication across floor to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift engineering support for filament winding and pultrusion production.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis with operations crews.
• Own continuous improvement projects from problem identification through implementation.
• Design fixtures, tooling, and ancillary components in SolidWorks.
• Build and maintain work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation.
• Train and coach production operators on process and equipment.
