Job summary

GEOTEK LLC is seeking a Process Engineering Technician for 2nd shift to serve as the engineering presence on the floor. You will troubleshoot, run trials, design tooling in SolidWorks, and push improvements with ownership and accountability.

The role requires hands-on work on pultrusion and filament winding processes, collaboration with operations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Expect a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule on weekdays and room to grow within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Two- or Four-year technical degree preferred or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.
• SolidWorks proficiency required (parts, assemblies, drawings).
• Strong communication with operators to leadership; organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift engineering support for filament winding and pultrusion production.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis with operations crews.
• Own continuous improvement projects from problem identification through implementation.
• Design fixtures, tooling, and ancillary components in SolidWorks.
• Build and maintain work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation.
• Support engineering R&D and process trials.
• Train and coach production operators on process and equipment.
• Challenge current methods and propose better equipment and tooling.
