The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, applying engineering knowledge and judgment to achieve operational excellence and safety goals. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and be able to work the 2nd shift (2:45pm–10:45pm).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; OR high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience with project planning and execution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing engineering activities supporting production operations and process efficiency.
• Perform tactical manufacturing engineering tasks that do not require a four-year engineering degree.
• Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and technical disciplines.
• Support operational strategies and business objectives using experience and technical expertise.
• Analyze processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality, productivity, safety, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals.
• Apply judgment to solve routine to moderately complex manufacturing challenges.
• Leverage analytical thinking and internal resources to evaluate issues and determine solutions.
• Understand business drivers and how team objectives contribute to organizational success.
• Provide informal coaching and support talent development initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and implement best practices.
