Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard LLC in High Point, NC seeks an experienced maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment. You will perform diversified duties across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to keep machines running at optimal performance.

The role requires a High School diploma with craft apprenticeship or equivalent and at least four years of manufacturing experience, including PLC familiarity and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent plus craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years in production maintenance.
• Four+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair programmable controllers and drives.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and handling equipment for repairs.
• Address special projects as dictated by business needs.
