Job summary

Target Corp. is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 in Fridley, MN. The role focuses on maintenance of automated material handling equipment, robotics, and AS/RS, with preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

You will work with other technicians, complete work orders with labor hours, downtime, and parts used, and follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE. Benefits start within two weeks of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical MHE onsite (conveyors, sortation, robotics, AS/RS).
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Reset or replace belts, chains, cables, and other wear components; lubricate and calibrate equipment.
• Use preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshoot to restore equipment to service.
