Greif in Baytown, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and service hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on weekdays with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to inspect, test, dismantle, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Experience installing and maintaining machinery and facility structures.
• Capable of guiding junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with procedures.
• Visually inspects, checks fluid levels, lubricates, tightens, and adjusts components.
• Replaces parts, calibrates sensors and gauges; tests equipment.
• Dismantles, inspects, and maintains pipe systems and related equipment.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring.
• Maintains facility structures and supports junior colleagues as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and company policies.
