Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and operate various lifts and cranes while following safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a maintenance certificate, and prior industrial experience. Knowledge of CNC, DCS, and PLCs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a maintenance certificate program from a two-year college or tech school or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is required.
• Knowledge of CNC machines, distributed control systems, and logic controllers is required.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to work with low voltage systems.
• U.S. person per ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general electrical and mechanical maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using testing devices.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Weld as needed (ARC, MIG, TIG).
• Follow lock out tag out protocol and safety guidelines.
• Respond to daily maintenance tasks and special projects.
• Operate lifts and cranes as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and communicate issues to management.
