Job summary

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a top-tier manufacturing facility in Sealy, TX. This role focuses on care, preventive maintenance, and continuous operation of production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems, with a strong emphasis on safety.

You will troubleshoot, read schematics, and perform repairs using hand and power tools, while following Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and PPE requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Physically capable to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift 25-50 lbs.
• Must pass Hazmat exam, pre-employment drug screen, and background check (Safety-Sensitive Position).
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, dependable attendance, and a solid commitment to team safety and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Equipment care and repair on production machinery, processing systems, and packaging equipment.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
• Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment to complete repairs.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and wearing required PPE at all times.
