Job summary
Caterpillar Hodges, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines, following safety and predictive maintenance processes.
Preferred candidates have an Associate degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance, plus experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related program is preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing/facilities equipment is expected.
- Knowledge of Electrical (110-480VAC and 0-36VDC), PLCs, Controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas systems is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance and improvements on facilities and equipment.
- Perform corrective maintenance by analyzing malfunctions and implementing solutions.
- Record incidents in CMMS and communicate repair status to supervisor and production.
- Assist in spare parts storage and on-site interventions as needed.
