Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in New York. The role runs Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:30pm with overtime on weekends as needed.

You will inspect, test, and monitor machinery, perform repairs and replacements to ensure optimal plant performance, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The position offers an hourly rate of $30.00–$33.00 with a $1.00 shift differential for hours after the first shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging/manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Independently identify and repair equipment issues within assigned area with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting bottling, filling equipment and gantry palletizers.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns.
• Perform general electrical repairs including wiring, relays, sensors, and motors; read schematics.
