Job summary

Greenleaf Foods in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) to keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently in a plant-based facility.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, handle repairs, and support maintenance planning while following OSHA, HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus.
• Exposure to HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry is helpful.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Repair mechanical and electrical components on production equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs as needed.
• Submit parts/service requests and support maintenance planning.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and accurate documentation.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor and Planner to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow OSHA, HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards at all times.
